In addition to her current role at Joplin Schools, Klista Rader has spent four years as Joplin’s Technology Integration Coordinator, overseeing the high school 1:1 initiative and training teachers in the eMINTS, eTEC, and TLA programs. For six years prior to that, she taught fourth and fifth grade at Royal Heights Elementary in Joplin Schools. A highlight of her career has been developing the eTEC technology training program, which received great praise from the eMINTS National Center and has been licensed for resale. Klista holds certification as an eMINTS teacher, PD4ETS eMINTS trainer, Intel Teach Master Trainer, and Google Certified Teacher. She has presented at numerous conferences, including Learning Forward, Tech Forum Chicago, Virtual School Symposium, ISTE, and FETC. The most important thing to her in education is making a difference in students' lives. Through relationships and a rigorous, innovative course of study, she strives to provide that model for teachers.
